Corona Blues 02:20
Isolation is pretty hard, you think your brain is overcharged. Some say that I'm goin' crazy, going outta my mind, well you might be right. Day drinking, but not in the park, no-ones in the bars, by order of those in charge. 2k and no crossing the line, well I'm thinking again, you might be right. This Corona is giving me the blues. Wash your hands, wash your face, wear your mask, wear your gloves, sanitise (don't get it in your eyes); Take a chance? Get 'er bucked? Outta luck. I'm afraid ICU will be the place for you Stay at home, stay in bed, isolate, but don't forget, to comprehend, it's just for 14 days. Clear yourself, make it safe, think again, hesitate, meditate, then do it all again. "Corona Blues, what will you choose? Today's activities involve getting drunk by yourself and shouting at sheep in the field behind your house. I feel sorry for the pioneers in our generation. They must be so bored these days; nothing to do, no-one to see, Netflix only has so many crap TV shows. After all, it's only fair we don't discriminate..there's families out there too. Them poor souls have to share their beers...it's double the cost of their sanity. And what about the kids?! Sure they don't care! Sure it's an early summer holiday for them! Who gives a crap?!" This isolation is stupid hard, brains overcharged, need a pint in a bar. It's no way an alcoholic excuse, a conversation excuse, I'm thinking clearly of you. We'll go drinking when this is all at an end, continue on the trend, sure this is all that we'll know. We'll vaccinate, procrastinate, elaborate, on all the things we never did, sure where else will we go?! Get back to normal, back to work, and back to seeing the same faces that you've grown to hate and ignore. Back to him, and back to her, and back to all the same complaints about "HOW WE'RE BORED!" This Corona is giving me the blues.
I stayed away from you To only have you to Create a hole in my back Where people talk to you I'm not public property So stay away from me All I have is my own I called you again last night To see if you'd reply But all the engines roared As I called out for more I stayed away from you But now I'm having to Be on my own again With nothing left I'm not public property So stay away from me All I have is my own
I don't need me Give me some therapy The only thing I need Is your sweet therapy Now get to f**k Don't give me time Give me some therapy Don't waste my time Give me some therapy Don't f**k with me Give me some therapy Get out of line I need my therapy Now get to f**k "Doctor, I think I'm gonna crash" "Tell me bud, how you think you'll crash?" "Well, y'see, it goes like this...I'll crash, my fist, right into your f**king skull..AAGH" I don't need me Give me some therapy The only thing I need Is your sweet therapy

Looking to keep occupied and challenged during lockdown, the task was set to create four tracks in four days, written, produced, mixed and mastered inside those four days.

This is the result.

For the duration of 22nd April through to 1st June, all proceeds from the EP release will go to Rose's And Rainbows, a support group for people who have gone through IVF, Miscarriage and Infertility.
